Not sure how to connect to your pelvic floor?
Pelvic floor tightness and tenderness is a very common problem for people with Endo, as the muscles around the pelvis can unconsciously grip in response to pain, and then feed back in to the pain cycle by producing cramping, decreased blood flow, sensitivity and poor relaxation for things like emptying your bladder and bowel, and having penetrative sex.
Learning to connect to your pelvic floor, and building awareness of when it is tight and gripping vs relaxed and lengthened, can be a game changer for many common endo symptoms, that things like hormones, surgery and diet just cannot address.
This simple but powerful breathwork practice harnesses mobility of the diaphragm to help the pelvic floor lengthen and release, while calming your nervous system and helping you feel safe and settled in your body.
Give this simple practice a try daily for a week, and let us know how you feel!
